Alastair Humphreys asked me to design to podcast cover image for his latest project, ‘Living Adventurously”.
Al wanted something slightly abstract so we settled on a curious man diving into a puddle and coming out of the clouds. It features classic Yorkshire colours as the podcast is about Al’s trip through Yorkshire and steers away from traditional adventure illustrations.
I’m honoured to have a rider’s lens feature on Bikepacking.com
It’s really cool to have my work recognised in a small way on the biggest cycle touring website out there. Go check it out!
The new Australian BMX magazine, Nothings Wrong, recently came out. I did created artworks for the cover and spot illustrations for individual articles.
You can check it out here and a small feature on it on Dig here.
The final of the UK National Cyclocross Series came to York, my hometown at the weekend and guess who was in contention for the overall title? Only my Bombtrack team-mate Gosse!
I’ve never been to a cyclocross race before and it was fascinating to watch, especially when you have a vested interest. It was also an awesome place to do some photography as the racers basically ride laps around you.
Gosse came into the final 3 points behind the leader, Ian Field, which basically meant that whoever finished ahead of the other within the top 8 would take the overall. Ian unfortunately had to retire from the race which left Gosse bringing home the overall title and finishing second in the race! Congratulations!
In an effort to keep a more in-depth diary with a constant stream of updates, I’ve decided to start a blog on the website. Expect to see new images, creations and reflections on past projects!
